We enjoyed our stay with the grandkids, especially the perfect location near the outer Alster for jogging. The hotel is clean and spacious, with a lovely breakfast area. It felt relaxed and inviting.
In my wife's opinion, a play area would be great for kids.

The location was very helpful to visit in a walking distance the historical places in the city and the shoping area. The breakfast was very good for the category of the hotel.
Few days after my reservation I realised, visiting your site again, that were new prices lower than what I had!...

The staff at this hotel were charming and very friendly. The bedroom and bathroom were small but very clean and breakfast was excellent.
The noise of the other guests in the corridor and bedrooms was awful. Why do people have to turn their tv up so loud??

Excellent hotel and very very clean. The breakfast was lovely a great selection and very fresh. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is literally a minutes walk from the U Bahn. Would recommend this hotel 100%. Very close to Aster lake. Bars and restuarants are very close by.
Only small complaint a double is two single beds pushed together with the wooden edges down the middle.

1. A recentry renovated room, including shower room, was very carefully cleaned 2. Romm is enough large for the interesting price. 3. No expensive dishes (smoked salmon, famous italian ham of Palma, etc), but ingredients for Breakfast are very finely selected: plenty of fresh and tasty fruits (even in 5 star hotels, fruits are too young and not sufficiently matured); no Cappucino, but good and very hot coffee served with hot milk; fresh and crispy bread including wholeweet bread.
1. Though I requested a room with bath tub, they couldn't provide me; there was only a shower (but hot water supply was enough strong with a remouvable shower head). 2. Automatic ventilation system in shower room is a bit noisy (morning and evening, stop at night-time). 3. for boiling water (BaselerHof Hotel, next door, has it; but room is smaller). 4. At the front desk on my arrival, an elderly man said that 1 hour connection for 5 Euros can be sprittable for several days of my stay, but actually, it was only for one hour "consecutive"; an hour later, even though I properly "logged-out" from Telekom site, it has been expired. (Prepayed card for 1 hour has been sold out, and I purchased via on-line.) Two days after, a front reception lady said that only 600 mintues (about 20 Euros) connection can be sprittable for 30 days. I, then, with wrong information, payed multiple times for Internet connection. Well, it was during Easter Holyday, and staffs were all elderly people (one person at night time was very kind). During normal days, for other customers, young and competitive staffs would be able to provide a correct information, I hope. At least, in my room #425, Telekom's internet access speed was not bad.

The location was peaceful yet so close to attractions like the opera house and beautiful architecture. The staff were wonderful, particularly mrs darcon. The breakfast had a great variety, including fresh rolls and unique options.
the room could use better ventilation sometimes.

We enjoyed our stay as the location was fantastic for exploring the city. Plus, we loved having breakfast with a wide variety of options. My father appreciated the helpful staff and the easy access to public transport, made our travels smoother.
My kids wished for a play area or more family-friendly activities.
